Abstract
This is an experimental, work-in-progress prototype of Yūrei, an interactive opera where Japanese ghost lore meets live performance, AI creativity and audience control. You are not just watching. You are helping us test bold ideas across selected scenes and features. Your participation during the show and your feedback afterwards will shape the next build.
What you will do
- Be a Yōkai: step into the story world as playful spirits and influence what happens.
- Audience orchestra: choose a virtual instrument and perform along with singers and players.
- Live plot control: use your phone to steer key moments in real time.
