Registration to AI Lund hackathon 9 October 2023
Using language models to describe AI research at Lund university - Hackathon 9 October 2023
In the fall of 2023, AI Lund start a project that aims to use modern language models and the university's publication database to create a prompt- and filter-driven platform to generate useful descriptions of AI related research at Lund university.
On October 9, we organise hackathon where we hope that many of the university's NLP researchers and Data Scientists will participate.
But we also want to get in touch with:
- web programmer
- bibliographers
- AI enthusiasts at the university who want to help validate the quality of the descriptions generated by the platform.
One idea is also to ask AI researchers at the university to describe their AI research themselves so that we can evaluate the platform by comparing the original with what the platform creates.
Examples of use cases for the platform that we outline:
- Which researchers at Lund University work with AI solutions within Parkinson's Disease or Alzheimer's structured by faculty?
- Describe in 500 words which AI-related research is conducted within the HT faculty.
- Summarise AI-related research applications with researchers from S and M that have been approved in the last five years.
- Summerise research within the LU profile Natural and Artificial Cognitions that highlights technical applications of insect minds.
Sign up for the October 9th hackathon and/or for the subsequent work at the link coming here in early September.
