Abstract

This talk will introduce the field of construction robotics and ongoing work performed in Lund in this area. The Center for Construction Robotics was founded at LTH in 2018 with around 15 completed and ongoing research projects to date. Research is experimental and conducted by putting robot prototypes to work in the construction environment to see how they perform. The talk will touch on robots such as Bettan and Spot, and how we work with them to explore robots doing repetitive, heavy and dirty work on the construction site.
